Historical iconic images of courage have included Teddy Roosevelt charging up Kettle Hill, Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball, or maybe even the cowardly Lion finding the courage that he had all along in "The Wizard of OZ." The items do indeed reflect courage, but as you wear the Courage Life Wheel, we feel that it represents a more subtle but vastly more powerful courage that comes from faith. The Basic Text of Alcoholics Anonymous says on page 68 "We never apologize to anyone for depending on our creator." We can smile at those that think spirituality is the way of weakness. Paradoxically, it is the way of strength. The verdict of the ages is that faith means courage. All men [sic] of faith have courage...the trust their God." Courage can indeed be valor under fire or railing against outdated and nonsensical societal norms. But, as the AA text indicates, real courage comes from belief in the spirit and the faith to allow the spirit to do the work necessary to exact change and growth. We hope as you wear the Courage Life Wheel that you are reminded of all forms of courage and that you can act on them.   These Sterling Silver Life Wheels measure approximately 7/8 inches
